For years, the wine industry has wondered how to “demystify the wine experience."

Then you go to a tasting and a Master Sommelier is looking down his nose through the glass at the unwashed masses below, “teaching” them about a wine they can’t afford and won’t be able to find.

This is the cornerstone of what I have always disliked about the industry.  There are a million wines that are under $20 that almost anyone can enjoy, on a daily basis.  If you can, I promise your quality of life will improve.  Wine has a way of making a bad day a good one, a good conversation into a great one, and an epiphany becomes an inspiration.

So, this site aims to achieve what the industry has been trying to do for years.  I want to reach the common, casual wine drinker and expand his or her palate without busting a wallet.

To do this I had to find a way to do it fairly – where I would become a value to all parties involved, including suppliers, wholesalers, retailers, restaurateurs and consumers.

This model helps everyone.  Consumers get unbiased common speak reviews and information that will save them money, suppliers benefit from exposure that helps them roll through to new vintages or through product that just hasn’t sold due to poor marketing, wholesalers benefit much the same way as suppliers, retailers don’t sit on inventory as long, and restaurants in the area get attention drawn to them – so consumers don’t forget to get out, spend some money, and support the local economy.

Everyone goes home a winner.  It had to be that way or I wouldn’t do this.
